Lead Pastor: Calvary Callender

Our new Lead Pastor, Calvary, came to us from Big Spring, where he served for 8 years as lead pastor at Naz Family Church. He was also in youth ministry for 11 years before that.  Calvary received his Bachelor of Sociology degree from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, the Master of Arts in Religion, Spiritual Formation degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. 


Calvary is originally from Midland, TX since age of 10 until he graduated from high school at Midland High class of '93. 


He is married to Ceresa and has 3 wonderful children- Morgan, Matilyn, and Cayden. 


His goal is to strive to live in authentic community by Loving God, Loving Others and Loving Community.

Worship Arts Pastor: 

Mandy Hewitt

        Mandy and Mark Hewitt have been with the LCC family since November 2013 as the Worship & Arts/ Young Adult pastor. Mandy has been in full time ministry since 2011 and has a passion for teaching worship and connecting all ages to the meaning of worship. She also has a passion to see her generation be connected and serving in the Church and discovering God's calling on their lives. 

        Mark and Mandy both graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2010 and 2011. Mark is currently an active real estate agent in the DFW area. Mandy is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and is considering going to back to school in the future for a masters in counseling. They have been happily married since June 2012 and have an amazing, active son, Trace.

Children's pastor: Becky adams

Children's Pastor, Becky Adams grew up as a pastor’s kid and has lived in five states and enjoys living in Texas with her family. 


Becky received a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK. She was a public school teacher in Midland, TX for ten years before joining the church staff at Big Spring First Nazarene full time where she served for three years prior to joining Lantana Community in August of 2018. 


She is married to Wes Adams and has two children named Deanne and Alexander. Becky is a full time student in the master of divinity program with a specialization in youth, children and family. Becky holds her district license as a minister in the Nazarene denomination working toward her ordination within the denomination. 


Becky’s goal is to build a children’s program that is based on a foundation of faith and prayer.

Pastor Emeritus: Paul Marshall

Rev. Paul W. Marshall pastored Lantana Community Fellowship from 1988-2003, facilitating the move in 2002 to the present facilities. He has devoted his life to full-time ministry for over 50 years—having served most of that time as pastor. After his many years of service in ministry, the LCF congregation bestowed the title of Pastor Emeritus upon Paul. The designation of "Emeritus" means to be honorably retired from assigned duties. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Carrollton.
